Free tools you can use right now:
An essential smartboard tool for Quranic and classical Arabic learners. Teachers paste Arabic text with diacritics. The tool instantly color-codes specific letter combinations (Nūn Sākinah, Tanween, Qalqalah, Ghunnah, and Madd) using client-side Unicode Regex. Perfect for helping students visualize complex recitation rules.

- Tashkīl: how much to leave on, and when to take it off — Real Arabic is written without vowels. Full vowelling forever produces learners who cannot read anything published; removing it too early produces guessing. A staged plan for getting from one to the other.
Common questions
What Tajweed rules are supported?
The tool currently supports: Ghunnah (نّ & مّ), Qalqalah (قْ, طْ, بْ, جْ, دْ), Tanween (ًٌٍ), Madd Asli (َ ا, ِ ي, ُ و), and Nūn Sākinah (نْ).
Can I enable/disable specific rules?
Yes! There are toggle switches for every rule. You can turn off Madd to focus only on Ghunnah, or combine them all for a complete color-coded analysis.
How does the coloring work technically?
It uses precise JavaScript Regex matching on Unicode Harakat and characters. No data leaves your browser, and everything runs locally.
